A Brief History of Re(" 0 =")

چکیده
During last decade a particular eeort has been put to the precise measurement of Re(" 0 ="). Challenging experiments are currently analysing data in order to deduce this fundamental parameter. In this article we will discuss in a comparative way two experimental techniques, these of KTeV at Fermilab and NA48 at CERN, with the aim to give an idea of the diiculty of the measurement and describe the ways these groups have chosen to achieve it.
